My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harley is a very gentle, loving, and playful 6 year old merle male with natural ears. He came to rescue after his family's situation changed, leaving them with not enough time to spend with him. He absolutely adores children, and he is great with other dogs of all sizes, from Pomeranian to Lab to fellow Dane. He is very timid in new surroundings and finds things like tile floors and staircases to be quite concerning, but with encouragement, he adjusts. Harley has a blanket he loves to carry in his mouth. He will allow his people to take it away (it needs a good washing occasionally!) but will follow them until they give it back. He is quite trustworthy in the house, though he will dispose of unattended food if able. He doesn't bark a lot. He has fairly good manners, but does need a good bit of work on leash-walking. Harley is a total sweetheart, and is looking for a moderately active home where he can live out his golden years.
