Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Meghan. She is quite a social butterfly and definitely knows how to work her eyes. She is irresistable!
Meghan's mom is a beagle/basset mix and her dad is a traveling man. In other words, we have no idea what her dad is, but probably some breed of terrrier.
Meghan was born on Columbus day, so she is about 3 months old. She weighs about 10 pounds, so she will be a small to medium size adult dog.
She is a "watcher." We think that is a very nice trait in a puppy. She loves to be in your lap but is also happy resting in her bed where she can watch what you are doing. She loves other dogs and plays very well with her brother, Markle. She wants to play with the cats in her foster home, but hasn't quite learned good cat playing manners. She tends to chase them and then is crestfallen when they don't accept her invitation for play.
Meghan uses a pee pad for her potty business because there is not a dog door in her foster home. She is a smart little girl and would catch on quickly if she had easy access to the outside.
She is a sweet, energetic puppy. Because she is so small and still has those sharp, puppy teeth, her new family should have older children who know how to handle small dogs.
Meghan will be spayed and microchipped on January 11th. She has had two puppy shots, her bordatella vaccine and has been wormed. She will be ready for her new home mid to late January. If she looks like she would be a good addition to your family, email warmhearts@earthlink.net for an application to adopt. That is the first step in the adoption process. Meghan's adoption/vetting fee is $175.00
