My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pudge is SPECIAL NEEDS and needs a truly experienced home. One that handle and train a young horse. He came to us untouched and feral. He must be gelded and if he is adopted before we can complete it at HHHR, then the adopter will be required to get him gelded. Because his testicles, have not dropped (cryptorchidism), it will be an expensive procedure and must be done IN a clinic.

Pudge is dwarfed mini pony who is a little over a year, by his teeth. He came in with 4 other minis, one of which is his mom. He is currently being weaned. Pudge is pretty wild as he was born on a property and untouched by anyone until being brought to us but our volunteers have made a lot of progress with him in the short amount of time he's been here. Pudge will need a special home where his new family will be willing to spend the necessary time to teach him that humans are not to be feared in addition to good manners. Pudge does have cryptorchidism (neither of his testes have dropped) so to geld him will be expensive. Due to his neglect, he never had any vet or farrier care before coming to us. His feet were severely over grown and will need regular farrier care, however, he should recover fully and his tendons should come back to normal.
