Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dash is a little Yorkie boy who is 6 years old and weighs 6 pounds. Dashing little Dash is being fostered in Zephyrhills, FL. Dash’s adoption fee is $395.
UPDATED BIO 12/29/2017: Foster Mom has only had the pleasure of fostering this sweet and adorable furbaby for just a few days, so she doesn’t have much info to share right now except only to say that he loves to play with his toys and with his foster parents. Dash likes to sit with them on the couch and sleep on their bed.
Dash is not yet fully house-trained; when left alone for any length of time he will have accidents so he is sporting a bellyband for now until he has a chance to have some positive reinforcement in the house-training department. His previous owner stated that he barks when left alone, so his foster parents are working with him on that behavior as well. Dash rides well in the car and he seems to like both men and women equally. He appears to get along with other dogs and cats as long as they are not being aggressive with him; if that happens, he will growl and bark at them. Dash loves going for walks, and walks very well on a leash.
Dash was free-fed all of his life, and he is now learning to eat on a set feeding schedule.. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations and passed his health exam with flying colors.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to Dash’s small size, he can only be placed in an adults-only home. NO condo or apartment living for Dash – for now - due to his barking when left alone.
Initial Bio 12/26/17 Adorable little Dash just arrived today at his foster home. His foster parents do not know too much about him, though they were given some information by his former owners. His foster mom and dad were told that Dash needs someone home most of the time since he hates to be separated from his owners. He will bark for them and it will bother the neighbors. Dash is not made for apartment living. Dash does not like to be alone and may have accidents in the house if left alone for long periods of time. His foster parents will be working with him on that.
It may take a little while for his foster parents to get to know Dash and know what all his needs in a forever home may be. Check back soon. More will be coming soon on darling Dash.
