My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucille seems to have been abandoned at a trailer park. She is quite friendly to people, and loves to have her head petted and rubbed. The owner of the trailer park where she was wandering believes she had already had 2 litters in 2017, and was believed to be pregnant when Carma CC was called.

Upon being trapped and brought to the vet however, we discovered that she was not pregnant - she had already had her kittens! So she was released and a two week hunt began in late November, 2017 to retrap her WITH her kittens.

By mid-December with nights going below zero, we were frantic. But our rescuers prevailed and were able to re-trap Lucille with three gorgeous kittens.

After 10 days together to help orient her kittens, we have taken Lucille to be spayed and she is ready for adoption. 2 of her three kittens have already been adopted. One (Silver) is still available.

Lucille is a very friendly cat. Her foster mom called her special, and would have loved to keep her if she did not already enough!. Even the Vet office were raving about what a special, nice cat she was (and that was after only a few hours with her).

Lucille is an unusual mix of tortie, tabby and calico, with bright green eyes. She has been spayed, dewormed and vaccinated for rabies on December 21, 2017
