Meet Emma! Busy, silly, curious, and loving! She's a petite little girl with an eagerness to see the world and a desire to belong. Emma lived alone for years, without proper exposure to people, dogs, or life in general. Since coming to CRCS, this little lady has met new friends, gained confidence, learned how to walk on a leash, taken rides to the park, discovered lizards, toys, water and more! She is continuing to improve and has shown that with a proper introduction to anything new, she is able to overcome! Her personality brings a smile. Her outlook on life is simple - let's go check it out! There is so much to see and do! Emma's ideal environment will be active yet patient and calm. They will understand that each and every month, she will continue to transform and grow and learn what life is like with a family. Emma is used to open spaces so her preference would be a quiet neighborhood, spacious yard, people that are eager to slowly introduce her to all that the world has to offer! Emma has met lots of doggie friends here at the center. Her preference of dog personalities are those that don't bark at her on initial introduction. Bring it in slow (as with everything) and you'll see her eyes and heart open wide. She wants to love. Emma is on medication that will be life long but that doesn't hold her back in any way or affect her outlook on life! Adult only home please. Sorry, Emma does not speak cat. What a joyful, loving, sweet, funny, personality, ready to become part of a family. Finally, after a 5 year wait. Well deserved. Age 7 years. 43 lbs.
