My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This precious little girl was found very matted and scared on the corner of a busy street. It took 3 hours to catch her and she was so scared she finally had to be darted in order to save her!.

She is just a doll approx 3 years old and 12 lbs. She looks like she has some pomeranian/ cairn terrier in her. Her coat will be more on the darker side once it grows out. She was so matted she had to be trimmed down. She is very sweet and a little shy. She gets along with all of the other dogs, but loves to just curl up on her doggie bed and chill out. She does well on a leash and seems to be pretty well house trained. She did test positive for heart worms and was treated with the required set of shots, we usually find that the dogs test negative in 4- 6 months and we require that all of our dogs be kept on a monthly heart guard as a preventative.

She prefers a quiet home and we require a home with no children under the age of 12.

The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in TX in foster care.
