My story

Gumbo needs a home! This 6 year old handsome hound is looking for an active life of playing fetch, swimming and snow trips! He’s put on some lbs so that activity is important for more than just his mind. He would love to have property to explore and a job to do. He is a hound so keep in mind he’s vocal, he'll let you know you have company or needs you to throw his ball. Cats are cool, but he is picky with dogs. He demands respect and will tell another dog they are rude. We think a calmer, submissive dog could work with appropriate introductions. He also seems to favor small dogs. However, being the only dog means he doesn’t have share! He is a smart kid and will find problems to solve if you don't keep his mind busy...child locks might be considered ;). He can be aloof but it’s not that he isn’t up for snuggles, he just likes to chose when. Gumbo also loves to play hide and seek, if you hind under a blanket he will rescue you!
