My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alfred is a very sweet, loving, loyal, and mellow boy! He was a bit scared when we pulled him from Athens Animal Control, but we could tell that he was going to be a very chill pup. He would let us mess with his ears, feet, and tail easily and fell asleep in his new foster mom’s arms almost immediately. Once we got him home and he knew he was safe, he attached himself to his new mom and his new foster sibling, Jeffrey. He is a very loving boy, preferring to spend his time napping and cuddling, though he does love walks! When he gets hyper, he likes to zoom around outside, though it doesn’t usually last very long! : ) Alfred’s perfect day would consist of cuddling, chewing on a bone, a nice walk, and a bit of playtime with his family.

Alfred is crate and house trained! We are working with him on basic obedience, and he learned how to “sit” and “wait” very quickly. We have recently started working on “down”. He is very smart and very food motivated, so he will be a quick learner, no matter what we try to teach him!
