My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Red is a sweet 1 year old mixed breed dog that found himself in a shelter after being found running loose. For some strange reason, nobody came to claim him. I have no idea why when he's such an angel.

Red is one of those kind of dogs that loves everybody and everything. kids, strangers, other dogs.. he loves them all. He has seen cats before and sometimes will chase them. He's extremely sweet and easy going, not high energy. Absolutely adores other dogs and has yet to meet one that he didn't like so he would do best in a home that has another canine buddy.

Red has excellent manners and knows that jumping on people isn't nice. He patiently waits for pets or to have his leash put on for walks! Being crated isn't his favourite thing in the world. It's not separation anxiety so much but more a general dislike for crates. He doesn't whine or bark but he's a bit of a houdini and has learned how to escape one quietly easily. When he does escape, his main mission is to find some yummy food! He does well being left in a laundry room or similar enclosed space.
