My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Sassafrass, aka Sassy, or Sassy-pants!

I'm a 1 1/2 yr old female JRT. I have short little legs and a docked tail. My coat is short and smooth.

I was taken to a shelter along with my babies when my owner decided she didn't want to be bothered with us anymore. My babies found homes right away, but I was a little grumpy about being there, so the shelter people thought I'd do better in rescue. I lived in the Shelter Manager's office for awhile, and before long I wasn't so grumpy anymore, and everyone loved me...then I went into foster, and that's where I am now, waiting for my forever home.



I'm potty trained, and I love people and other dogs. The people who owned me before played pretty rough with me, so I still like to put my mouth on your hand or arm when I'm playing, but I never bite or hurt anyone. Sometimes I bark at people I don't know, but mostly I'm just a silly, happy, funny girl who loves to play ball, run, and toss my squeak toys around.



I'm spayed, up to date on shots, and HW negative. My adoption fee is $150. If you think you're the one for me, please fill out an application today...you'll be glad you did!
