My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ivy originally came to us in December of 2016. Ivy had been hit by a car and left on the side of the road for HOURS before someone stopped to pick her up. She was brought to the finders house and then left outside in freezing temperatures overnight with NO medical care. A good samaritan found out about this puppy and brought her to FACE to get care. Ivy was very bruised but had no broken bones. She was suffering from hypothermia and frost bitten. We were able to warm her up and Ivy quickly rebounded! She became a normal puppy!

Because of how Ivy came to us, she can be tentative of new people. Ivy has to have a slow introduction to new people and seems to be particularly unsure of men. Ivy would do best in a home with no men as she is quite frightened of them. She has bee in a foster home with dogs and cats. She has been great with dogs, especially dogs her size that she can play with. She has been good with most cats she has met.

Thank you for your interest in adopting from the FACE Low Cost Animal Clinic. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped.
