Maisey and Fiona are a bonded pair of girls who were surrendered to the Rescue after family members started getting sick with allergies and asthma attacks. Maisey is a black and white Teddy who is about 8 months old. She has a few patches of long wavy hair on her rump so she is quite adorable. Fiona is the same age and is a cinnamon and white crested cutie. The girls love to be held and cuddled but are a little scared to be picked up. As they have become more comfortable in their foster home, they have allowed in-cage head and cheek scratches. They are very vocal when they want snacks!
Maisey and Fiona’s previous family loved them very much and gave the girls given lots of love and attention. They were purchased from a pet store and, as is often the case, both girls had Upper Respiratory Infections. They were taken back to the store for treatment and have since been healthy.
Maisey and Fiona have an excellent appetite and enjoy fresh vegetables, piles of hay and Oxbow pellets every day. The pair will need to live in a Rescue-required Cubes and Coroplast cage of at least 2 cubes by 4 cubes. The cage must be located in a part of the house the family spends time in so everyone can enjoy their company. We also ask that anyone adopting them lives a reasonable driving distance from Rockville, MD.
The adoption fee for Maisey and Fiona will be $70 as they are both intact females.
