My story

**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas**

We met Anubis when he took refuge in a Walgreens store! He had a painful wound on his leg, so we think he went to the right place to start his new doggie life. He clearly had enough of the street life, and we were glad to help him.

Now that he is all healed up, he is ready to take on the world. He loves running and playing with the other dogs at our facility. And people? Well he seems to love them all. He would really love to settle in with an active person or family who loves life as much as he does. Are you a jogger looking for a companion? Anubis would love to help you stick with it! You won’t find a better running or hiking buddy. His energy is infectious and would love to enjoy life with you!

This is a friendly, curious dog who will greet you with a big grin on his face every time. He’s still learning leash manners, but he says he will figure it out if you give him a chance! The rescue ladies think he’s an Ibizian Hound mix and he currently weighs about 40 pounds. He keeps his kennel impeccably clean and happily greets everyone who comes to visit.

The adoption fee of $200 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines.

Transport is available to most major US and Canadian cities via United Airlines PetSafe for an additional $325. A customs fee may apply at Canadian airports. Ground transportation to Colorado is available for $175, and several locations in the northeastern US for $175.
