Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Happy is on a trial adoption. We hope it works out for him.
Sadly, Happy has been in his foster home for over a year now. He is a very active dog and unfortunately he's been staying with his foster mom who is an old lady. He deserves so much more than I am able to give him. He is only about 2 years old and knows so many tricks. Sit, stay, down, roll over, shake paw and loves to show all his tricks off at our adoption events. He weighs about 45-50 pounds so just a medium size dog. Folks always say that his name fits him well since he always has a smile on his face.
He would be an amazing dog for a young person that can take him running or work with him to go on bike rides. He does do well on leash for just normal walks too. Just really wish he had more activity in his life than I am able to give him. He is okay with other dogs as long as they are up for playing and he seems fine around my cats. My cats are also old so they really aren't up for playing with him. He's really enojoyed playing with Hazel and Little Brudder and can stand up to all there running and playing as well. He's like their dad trying to show them the ropes.
Please share with your friends to help him find a home where he can have the greatest time of his life! He is neutered, microchipped, current on all his shots, heartworm negative and current on his heartworm prevention.
If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to fill out our adoption questionnaire at http://members.petfinder.com/~MS72/adoption_app.html
His adoption fee is $120.
Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home.
Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention.
For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verification.
When adopting an animal, you will be asked to complete our Adoption Contract
