My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Koko came from a rural high kill shelter in TX. We were told she was pregnant but they were really not sure. When we got Koko we could tell she was pregnant and she was also a walking bag of bones. You could see every bone in her body. We were hoping we would have a week or so to get some meat on her bones as would could feel the babies moving around, Koko had no milk. Less than 48 hours of us getting her she started to deliver her puppies. She had 2 that were dead and then she stopped. We waited for a few hours and nothing so we rushed her to the vets for an emergency c section. She still had 5 babies inside and 3 were alive. They were so tiny we knew they chances were slim. We tried everything and after 2 days the first baby died, then the next day the 2nd and then the 3rd one died. Koko was to young to have been pregnant in the first place so that did not help nor did the fact she was so thin we think her body could just not handle it all. She was also loaded with hook and whip worms. Today Koko is doing great and gaining the weight she needs back. She is a very energetic husky, well what husky is not? She will need a fenced in yard, it will have to be over 4ft as she will jump that. She is fully vetted and micro chipped. This baby has had a rough start. She is going to make someone a great pet.
