I am the perfect size, about 20 lb and 17 inches tall. Just a handsome mature guy looking for a place to settle down. My mom is moving to Australia, but I am an all American guy. So I would love a new family. The quiet life suits me. I am kind of nervous and could use a best friend to comfort me. When I get agitated, I can be snappish. An experienced owner would be best.

I went to school and know lots of words, like sit, lie down, stay and come. I also know to keep my big feet off the furniture. I really try to be very good.

Like most guys, I am kind of resistant to grooming and baths. But my ears and skin are sensitive, so I really need my regular beauty treatments. And like most guys, I much prefer the ladies. I can be a bit reserved with my public displays of affection. I need to know you better to love you. Other dogs are ok, cats not so much. But a crowd is too much.
