This Wonderful German Shepherd Dog is 7 yrs young and loves walks, cuddly time on the couch and just had a dental cleaning.

Will be fully utd on all vaccinations, is spayed and microchipped.

Her adoption fee includes, leash, collar, Dog bed, and toys!

A Gentle Giant at 90 lbs, she walks well on leash and a great companion that just wants to be around her people.

She will be your BEST FRIEND!

Star can be good with friendly/playful dogs her size when properly introduced off leash but needs a home with no cats (or a 2-level house where they can be kept separated).

You will be lucky indeed to have this wonderful dog in your life.

Star, a dog adopted from Street Savvy Dog Rescue at least 6 yrs ago has turned up AGAIN Roaming the streets last seen with a homeless person.

Back in July, we were having trouble getting hold of her owner and finally made the connection and returned her to him. Now we are experiencing a repeat of not being able to get an answer back from him despite repeated calls and texts. Sniff Daycare @sniffdoghotel kindly took her in overnight last night but we had to get her into our foster program and she is not doing well with other dogs in a not very large home with too little enough space to keep her separated properly from the resident three dogs and two cats!

IMMEDIATE TEMP FOSTER HOME NEEDED!

Star is great with people!

We'll provide contact info for the foster family currently housing the dog you'd like to meet. You can setup a time for everyone to meet!

Adoption application, home check, reference and vet check, adoption contract, fees, follow up coaching and support for your new rescue dog.

Streetsavvydogrescue.org requires a $50 application fee for all our dogs as well as a fully filled out application accessing our website link. It is a fillable form on Streetsavvydogrescue.org

If you are approved to adopt a Streetsavvydogrescue.org dog the $50 fee will be applied towards their adoption fee.

We cannot respond to inquiries a majority of the time but you are welcome to text us at 971-303-9415. We rarely answer phone calls due to time constraints but we recommend messaging us on Instagram, FB or via text. 971-303-9415.

Our program is all about matching you to one of rescue dogs! Our foster program gives us invaluable info about our rescues.

We also have a foster to adopt program for qualifying applicants!

Timeline on adopt finalization ranges from 1 week (puppies) to 3-4 weeks for adolescent and adult dogs.

WE REQUIRE AN APPLICATION and $50 fee to apply for one of our dogs.

Our vision is to rescue abandoned dogs from high kill shelters and communities in under-served areas and find them adoptive homes in the Northwest. Our efforts are focused on shelter dogs in Texas and in Oregon.
