My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kona. Kona is a 3 year old Blue Merle sheltie and is just stunning and a sweet boy. Kona is a bigger boy at 50+ pounds and while he could lose a pound or two, he is close to a good weigh. Kona is a little more on the reserved side and looks to his companion, Libby, to lead the way. He does warm up to new folks in a short about of time. He does well on a leash and is fine with other dogs. Kona is perfectly crate trained and like to sleep in his crate with the door open at night. Kona came in with his 7 year old companion Libby and they are both very close to each other and Kona looks for her direction, so we will be looking to keep them together in their new forever home. If you have a loving home open to a sweet bonder pair, please contact Heart’s Promise Sheltie Rescue. He would fine with older children over 10 years old and is perfectly house trained.
Both Libby and Kona will need a secure fenced in yard, NO EXCEPTIONS. If you do not have a secure fenced in yard, please do not inquire for these two.
