I am still a little bit of a mess since I came here but I am a lot better than at first. My eyes were all infected and I had a pretty disgusting yeast infection all over my stomach and neck and legs. I didn't even feel like eating, much less walk around or go outside on my own. Now that I am feeling better, I love to get petted and sometimes even come to ask for attention.
Most of my hair had to be shaved off so my skin could get treated but it is growing back. My foster mom says that I will be one of the prettiest girls in town when it does.
My eyes are doing much better but I may have to have drops for awhile, maybe even for the rest of my life but I am very good for them -- I hold my head very still and don't fuss at all because I know it making my eyes feel better.
When I sleep, I sleep pretty sound. My foster mom thinks I am probably deaf or at least, very hard of hearing. I will need a fence yard so that I do not happen to wander off and get lost because I probably won't hear you if you call for me.

Our adoption fee for dogs that are not seniors is $220. All dogs are spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccines and heartworm.
Our adoption process includes an application, personal and vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs under any circumstances.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our front page for the dates of our next Pet Parade. Appointments outside of Pet Parade to visit our dogs are only available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
Please be kind to our volunteers. E-mail inquiries will be answered much faster than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
