My story

Meet REESE!!
Reese is a 5-6 month old, 8-9 pound, neutered male mix breed. He looks like a Chihuahua and/or Min pin blend.
Reese was found wandering about and going to different doors in an apartment complex. He was taken in and the quest to find his owners was not successful. His previous owners likely moved out and left him behind. We brought him into rescue to find him a home. A real forever home.
Reese has a gorgeous rich colored coat like a Reeses peanut butter cup! And he is just as sweet. He is spunky, active, and playful. Small dog, big personality. Reese shows some alpha tendencies but isn't pushy. He doesn't like larger alpha dogs who bully or challenge him. He is progressing with potty training, but will require additional training as he likely lived the first few months of his life outside. He does well in a crate.
Reese is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and flea and heartworm preventive, and is micro-chipped. He comes with a health certificate to travel.
Reese's preferred home has a secure fenced in yard he can play in supervised, a playmate, and because he is active, no kids under 8 please.
Reese is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted. All adopters must meet requirements.
Reese is available through Lytle Animal Allies. His adoption fee is $185, and transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185.
