My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Audrey is as sweet as pie but needs a quiet environment and a patient owner. She loves to play and would probably get along great with just about any other friendly animal(s), but a home with young kids would make her uneasy. Once she's given time to adjust she loves being petted and often picks a "spot" where she goes when she wants snuggles. She especially adores having her cheeks rubbed and is a very loud purrer.

At her foster home we facilitated her socialization by keeping her in a confined space (with lots of toys and beds and other kittens for company) and her foster mom would visit her several times a day. At first she would want to run and hide, but the small space would allow her foster mom to pick her up and after a few seconds of cheek rubs she melts like butter! She just needs encouragement and patience to get comfortable with new people and places.
