BABY is one of our famous Tunica County Tuxedo girls. A very popular pattern in a doggie in these parts.
Baby came to us when her family left her at a stop sign in town. They told her to sit and stay and they would be back directly to fetch her. And they didn't. She waited without food or water at that stop sign - just sitting and staying as she had been told - when a shop keeper called Ms. Sandy at Tunica Humane Society and told her what had happened. Baby was rescued but she was used to a HOME and family - even a family who left her so cruelly. She didn't do well in a shelter kennel. It was noisy and even though everyone loved on her she cried for her family. FOSTER Mommy Roberta came into the picture then and took her home with her. She learned quickly that Baby loves to ride in a car. She loves walking on a leash. She loves people and she loves to chase a ball as long as you will throw it to her. She loves toys and did we say she loves people? Say it again. BABY loves people. Any size. Any age.
What Baby doesn't like is big dogs. And she isn't nuts about small dogs either. She prefers a home of her own if possible. She would be best in a home without small children because she does jump up on people...although with some obedience training she could stop that. Look how well she learned SIT and STAY.
Foster Mom said she is a really great girl and she loves her so much. She sleeps on her little bed in the master bedroom and once she goes to bed she doesn't make a peep all night. She is totally housebroken and she is proud of it. Baby didn't care for being closed up in a kennel when she first came to her foster mom, but she has learned to do very very well in a kennel while Mom is at work all day or if she has to be out in the evening. Foster mom never had a problem leaving her out in the house all day though and said she was a little angel. BABY is only about 20 months old and she has a lot of energy. If you have a fenced back yard to throw that ball and you could take her jogging with you she would be in heaven. PLEASE give us a call and ask to meet Baby. We will have video of her in a few days to share.
If you are interested in adopting this dog please give us a call.
We know each of the animals entrusted to our care by name and we will be happy to tell you all about the personality and little quirks that make each animal so loved. Our adoption fee for a dog is $100 and that covers all shots and vetting and spay/neuter. Our animals are fully vetted before we send them off to their new family.
