My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is  KENZIE ! My foster mom says I am an adorable, gentle companion. I look up lovingly to people with my big bright teddy bear eyes. I love to follow my foster mom around - some would nickname me velcro girl. But I do also love my foster sister Cavaliers, and kitty too. I am a little shy with strangers at first, but warm up to them quickly.  And since I love to be with my people, having someone home most of the day is important.

The doctor says I have a mild heart murmur (no meds required) and am patella clear, so that's great for my 9-years of age! I am a stocky girl at 26 pounds. I could use to lose a pound or two which would help my slight arthritis. But I'll always be a bigger Cavalier.

A few things my forever home would have would be:

  • Someone home with me much of the day.
  • Someone to continue my potty training. I am very good when let out frequently.
  • Someone committed to taking me out for several short walks daily, I can't do too much at once.


I'm being fostered in The Villages. and my adoption fee is $300.
