Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lars, our 13 week old Rottweiler mix boy. He will always greet you with a smile on his face and a wag of his tail.
He weighs 10 lbs now and loves everyone he meets. He is very friendly. Loves to be outdoors. Lars is great with other dogs and lives with cats.....he is very friendly and sweet.
He is ready to go camping, hikes, anywhere! GREAT OFF LEASH!
He currently is fostered on a 15 acre horse farm and loves to run and play. Completely trustworthy, he never wanders off and will always stay close.
Lars and his siblings were rescued by a good Samaritan after his pregnant mom was dumped in a neighborhood in rural Mississippi.
If you are interested in giving Lars a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you.
Lar's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, puppy shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention and includes cost of transport.
ALL OUR DOGS BEGIN THEIR JOURNEY IN TENNESSEE
Lars lives with a foster home in Tennessee. He will travel to her new family by professional pet transport once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the east coast and pick up is available in VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, NY, VT.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
