My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Okja would be a perfect family dog because he’s so loving and also protective. He’s extremely gentle with kids and animals, and would also keep a watchful eye on your property. Okja is living in a loving foster home with all sort of animals - dogs, goats, chickens, cats and even a pig! He did chase the foster’s cat the first time they met, but quickly learned this wasn’t appropriate behavior. He’s smart, a very fast learner and eager to please. Okja loves other dogs and would really benefit from a similiar sized playmate. He’s still young and has a lot of ‘play’ in him, so he’s happiest when he gets to run off leash and expend some of that energy. He’s also got great house manners and wants nothing more than to lounge on the couch with his people. Okja is such a loyal dog and will attach to his new family quickly. He can still be a little suspicious of new people, but he’s getting better every day. Okja was rescued from a slaughterhouse in China, so given his history, it’s no wonder he takes a bit of time to trust others. Okja is truly a wonderful dog and will make some lucky family very happy!
