Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luke was basically a stray living at a woman's home with 3 kids. He liked to chase cars and one day got hit. He has nerve damage in left front leg and it's possible he will not get the use of it back - but we are hoping! Amputation is a possibility.
He is a total sweetheart who loves to be loved. Don't know if he'd ever been in a house before we got him, but he is now crate trained. He would have to be watched as far as being housebroken - he might need a little guidance.
He can run and jump as well as any four-legged dog and gets along with other dogs - but doesn't like to be bullled or overwhelmed by them. Also, he loves to go in the car.
We would take care of the amputation if someone can give him the forever home he deserves.
If you have a well-fenced yard and the love to give this sweet guy, please call Holly at Northern New Mexico Friends of Animals at 575-586-0784 and we can talk about Luke - and thanks for helping a rescue!
