Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet RUBY!
Ruby is a super special girl with an amazing story. We first met her a few years ago when she was living at a homeless camp outside a Corridor gas station, hanging out with a group of men who had taken up shelter on the side of the building. Her "owner" allowed us to take her to the vet to be vaccinated and spayed, which we were happy to do. Over time, the camp disbanded. The people living there were gone, and Ruby was gone, too.
Fast forward to July of 2017. We received a phone call from the Baytown Animal Shelter saying they have a dog with a microchip registered to Corridor Rescue. This dog was brought in as a stray, found wandering the streets all alone. A picture is emailed and we immediately recognize Ruby!
This sweet American Staffordshire would love to thrive in the comfort of a forever home. She’s approximately 3 years old, house & crate trained and has great leash manners. Ruby loves playing with kids and other dogs. A meet & greet with any potential furry sibling is required to make sure they are a great match. She's very affectionate and eager to listen. Miss Ruby especially loves butt & head scratches. Looking for a cuddle bunny to greet you with a warm welcome? Ruby is your girl.
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas but is available for transport to most major US and Canadian cities via United Airlines PetSafe for an additional $275. A customs fee may apply at Canadian airports. Ground transportation to Colorado is available for $75, and several locations in the northeastern US for $175.
The adoption fee of $200 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines.
