My story

Hey there!!

My people call me Maximus!! I've found myself in a bit of a pickle and I'm hoping you can help. I need to find a new home. Through no fault of my own, the family that I've known my entire life cannot care for me anymore due to health issues.

I'm a young guy at just 2 years old! I'm a dog social - I get very excited to meet other dogs!! I LOVE to play. I also love meeting new people and giving them kisses! I have a habit of jumping up on people but I'm working hard to curb that behaviour. I just get so excited!! In my old home I lived with 5 little people, the youngest was just a new born baby, I loved them. But true to my breed make up, I have a high prey drive so I'm not a fan of cats or other little critters.

I'm used to going on road trips, going to the cottage, camping, all sorts of fun stuff! I'm also used to being crated while my humans are away for the day (they say they have to go to something called 'work' that allows them to buy me new toys - OK!!). I'm a really good boy and I'm hoping to find someone that has experience with big dogs and can help me work on some obedience lessons!
