Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mia is an 18 month old beauty available for adoption into a loving and active home.
She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and otherwise healthy.
My start In life was a little rocky and I came into care with a broken tail and spirit. That did not affect my zest for life. I'm an exceptionally smart dog who's been through my 12 week novice training course which, by the way, I aced and now I'm currently training at an intermediate level....I know all my commands and then some. I can learn a trick in 5 min with a tasty treat. I just learned how to curtsy! I would do best in a home without other dogs. I currently live with my older brother Charlee. I've taken the position of top dog (cause I am!) and resource guard "my stuff" when interacting with him. As long as toys aren't in the mix I prefer to wrestle and play with him like the true lady I am. Never have I showed any signs of resource guarding with my humans. I do not question my mom when she takes my bone or toy at any time. I've had to live with a cat and he's not my type so I just ignore him but I am very much a terrier when it comes to prey drive and enjoy a good chase in the woods. I'm very polite on my walks but choosy over doggy friends...I prefer to meet one dog at a time. Too much excitement gets me nervous.... My ideal family would be in a home with adults who would make sure I keep my curvy figure by exercising me and playing a good game of flyball regularly. I know not to chew or jump on the furniture but I love gnawing on my antler bone or a sturdy toy! I may play a little rough so older kids would better suit me. I love to chill and snuggle too. My mom sometimes let's me get right under the duvet with her. Im so spoiled but not rotten.
