My story

Meet Taylor! Taylor and his two identical brothers, Fillmore and Garfield, were rescued from Devore Shelter in July of 2017. All three boys were only 2 months old at the time of their rescue. We expect grand things for them so each was named after a US President. Fillmore and Garfield have both been adopted but Taylor is still waiting for his perfect people to come along.

Taylor was very shy at first – which is unusual for an orange tabby. They’re usually very gregarious kitties. After lots of attention and love from his foster mom, Taylor has blossomed into a friendly, sweet and confident boy! He loves to hang out with his humans and will follow them around for rubs and pets when he's feeling extra loving. He’s also quite a fan of belly rubs and head scratches. His fur is soft and silky, perfect for cuddling when you're watching TV and for bedtime. While Taylor has come out of his shell, his foster mom feels he will do better in a calm home environment where he can feel safe and loved.

Taylor gets along great with all of his foster brothers and sisters and is always friendly to new kitties, so if his forever home has another kitty to play with, Taylor will be incredibly happy to have a buddy. However, he’s also quite adept at amusing himself as well and will busy himself with his toys and other interesting odds and ends he finds around the house.
