Hi!!! My name is Gus, I am a beagle who is just under 5 years old. I ended up at Headin Home after some people found me and my friend Tesla. Headin' Home treated me for Heartworm, but I have since finished my treatment and am back to my playful self with no restrictions!

I’d like to think I’m a sweet pretty laid back guy. I didn’t really know how to walk on a leash so the volunteers having been working on that with me. My favorite thing to do is go out and run around with my other beagle friends here at the rescue.

Gus always has a sloppy kiss for you, his favorites things are toys, treats and lots of HUMAN love. Gus is working very hard on his basic manners, leash walking and house training. His ideal family should have a fenced in yard as he is typical beagle. After his treatments are finished he should have a relatively normal life .

An approved adoption application is required. The ..$185.00 adoption fee (payable by cash only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; dental teeth cleaning (if needed prior to adoption); vaccinations; and heartworm testing. Dogs for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
