Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cirrus and his buddy Stratus were found roaming around at a horse farm. Our team initially went out looking for a different dog we were alerted to, but then we came across these two young boys. They must have been on their own for a while, as they looked pretty rough. They were so excited to see us, or should we say, they sure were excited to see the food we offered them. They greeted us with smiling faces and tail wags. They just couldn't believe their luck! How could we leave these two behind, knowing that this area is far from where we typically feed and care for stray dogs? We wouldn’t be back soon, and these boys were just babies. We invited them into the car, and they happily jumped right in and accepted their freedom rides.
Cirrus is a Labrador Retriever mix. He currently weighs around 50 pounds. He is estimated to be just a little over 1 year old.
Cirrus got lucky and moved right into an amazing foster home. From what we can tell, he seems to be very pleased with his new living situation, as he is on his best behavior.
Here is what his foster mom has to report about him: “Cirrus gets along with dogs and puppies of all sizes. He likes to play chase with them more than anything. He puts his rear up in the air and crouches down with a huge grin, waiting for the other dog to engage in play. He's not pushy and definitely doesn't try to dominate. Cirrus was a bit timid when we first met him. We have a chaotic house with lots of new people and kids coming in and out constantly. He's adapted quickly, and isn't shy or scared around new people anymore. Cirrus is fully house and crate trained. He walks nicely on leash without pulling. His favorite activities are playing and cuddling. He loves to be where the action is, but isn't pushy about taking over. Cirrus would be a great dog for an active family, but he's also happy to chill on the couch. He is easy to please!”
This handsome boy has his bags already packed, and he is ready to finally be with his forever family. Could that possibly be you?
