Posted 11/13/17. Sally is a super sweet and super cute snuggle bug who came to us form a breeder/hoarder situation via a local humane society last July. Little Sally - she weighs about 12 lbs. has a wonderful personality as she gets along with everybody and everything. She loves going for walks and she loves cuddling on the couch with her human and other pups. Upon arrival Sally tested positive for heartworm. Her foster mom took very good care of her and we saw to her heartworm treatment. She took the treatment very well and she is now ready for a new forever home. Her foster mom has nothing but wonderful things to report about Sally, the only thing is that she is very hesitant to go outside to do her business when it rains or when it is cold. Having spent the first year in a cage at a breeder, she had to be taught that going in the house is not good doggie behavior. Her foster mom has been working on the house training and Sally has made great progress. However, we can not guarantee that she won't have accidents in the house. Other than that she is simply perfect. For Sally we are looking for a rather quiet/calm home with a securely fenced in yard, another pup about her size and age - she is almost 2 years old - would be great! She really enjoys canine companionship and she likes to play with her current canine brother. Sally is spayed, she is current on her vaccinations including Rabies, she is current on heartworm/flea prevention and she is micro chipped.
