My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Soleil (French for sun) is a 10 year old husky who is exceptionally sweet and extremely shy. Soleil can frequently be found snuggling up in the corner on a blanket (or on some laundry you may have forgotten to put in the hamper). When outdoors, Soleil loves to get her “zoomies” out and run around the yard. Soleil is really shy and requires a quiet, adult only, home that can commit to giving her the time (and space) she needs to come out of her shell (she does tend to warm up to women faster then men). Soleil also requires a home that has at least one other dog for her to befriend, having a fellow confident four-legged friend is key to helping her learn the ropes and feel more comfortable in new surrounding. Given her shy nature and high flight risk, we would prefer to place her in a home that is located in a rural area. Soleil gets along with cats. She is house and crate trained. She walks well on a leash, and rides great in the car. Soleil is spayed and UTD on vaccines.

Our adoption fee is $250 and covers: health certificate, microchip, bordetella, dhlpp and rabies vaccines, spay or neuter, a Ruffwear harness and use of Whistle GPS tracker for 3 months.
