GRACIE came to Nana's a very ill new mama. She had delivered 5 tiny premature puppies (probably her first litter) in a kill shelter. She was scared, skinny, had heartworms, and just about every other parasite you can think of. We had to remove her puppies from her as her milk was making the pups sick.
After giving Gracie some time to settle in, she was treated for heartworms as well as all the other things that were keeping her skinny and sick. Gracie is now a healthy happy girl who will not have to be concerned with anything other than finding her forever home.
Gracie is very pretty with striking black and white markings. She loves being petted and handled, which translates to she's pretty much an attention hog. Not unusual for these dogs though. She's just trying to make up for lost time.
Gracie has still not adjusted to the other dogs at Nana's so we think it would be necessary for Gracie to be an only dog. So if you're looking for a loyal companion to keep your feet warm in the winter, this is your girl!
