My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Hops is a beautiful Yorkie Silky Terrier who is 6 1/2 years old and weighs 7 pounds. Sweet Miss Hops is being fostered in Boca Raton, FL. Her adoption fee is $325.

UPDATED BIO 11/08/2017: Miss Hops is a sweet and loving girlie who has adjusted quickly to her new foster home, which includes two fur-siblings and two human teenage siblings. She is an active and playful girl who loves squeaky toys and going for long walks. Since she has been in her foster home for only 3 days, here’s what Foster Mom can tell you about her:

She definitely wants to be included in all family activities and enjoys being a member of the family. She walks beautifully on a leash.

She gives kisses to every human she meets.

She loves mealtime and is in no way food-motivated.

She is very VERY smart and learned how walk up and down stairs in a very short time!

She is house-trained and knows how to sit on command.

She appears to be scared of loud noises and thunder.

She wants to sleep in bed and cuddle with her people.

Miss Hops will have her well-visit veterinarian appointment in a few days; however, she is up-to-date on all vaccinations and appears to be completely healthy. Due to her small size, she can be placed in a home with children older than 12 years old.

Please understand that Miss Hops must be an only dog in the home. She gets along fine with other dogs, but she would rather not have them in her home. She does not share her toys and wants all the attention for herself.

Initial bio 11/4/17 Miss Hops just arrived at her foster home this afternoon. Her foster mom said she did great in the car, though she was a bit shy about her new surroundings. Miss Hops will need some time to settle into her new environment. Please come back soon as her foster mom gets to know her and Miss Hops gets to know her new foster home and her new foster family. Much more coming very soon.
