Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Leo was adopted out as a 3 month old puppy. Because of life circumstances beyond their control, his owner could no longer keep him and relinquished him back to us.
Leo was adopted again in September and recently returned because of divorce.
He was born around December of 2010. He weighs a little over 90 pounds. He's a big boy! He is mostly german shepherd......has the coat type and body build......but his ears do not stand up. He is starting to show some signs of arthritis. He is housebroken and crate trained. Is not destructive....does not need to be crated when left home alone. He has had basic obedience training and will sit/lay down when asked. He walks well on leash but tends to pull a bit. He is happy and LOVES going for walks. He enjoys the outdoors and would make an excellent hiking/jogging partner. He has been good with older children......he is timid around strangers and can become anxious around small active children he does not know. He will bark at strangers when they initially enter the home but will always run away or hide behind his owner as opposed to confrontation. Once he trusts you and warms up to you, he is an absolutely amazing dog!! He will follow you everywhere to make sure he always has a close eye on you. Loyal through and through. Always right by your side and excitedly greets you at the door when you come home! Leo is looking for a new INDOOR home (for those that do not understand what that means, it means NOT left outside 24/7. That he can sleep indoors and be indoors with the family). He has been around children but prefers quiet adults and so that is the type of home we are looking for for him. Leo's adoption fee is $100. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy. If you are interested in Leo, please contact Gail Posey at 678-361-7304 or email pspp_inc@yahoo.com.
