My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rayla is a stunning, very special girl that will need a very patient and understanding adopter. She is a purebred Ragdoll, about 7 years old, and so very sweet. She's talkative and friendly and LOVES to be brushed.

She was owner surrendered to us because the owner was moving overseas and couldn't take her. She got adopted pretty quickly, but the adopter had a dog and Rayla didn't get along with him at all and she stopped using the litter box. She was returned and adopted out again, but this time she was in a home with no other animals and unfortunately still would not use the litter box consistently. We believe it is due to her being declawed as she has been tested for UTI and has no other health problems.

We offered to pay for anxiety medication for the second adopter, but she refused and brought Rayla back. Sadly Rayla is not doing well in a rescue environment. She does use the litter box however, and she has access to an outdoor enclosure so she likely potties out there as well.

A home with an enclosed outdoor space where Rayla can potty would be ideal for her. We are also offering to pay for anxiety meds if they seem to help her. We just want this sweet girl to have a loving family. It's not her fault that her claws were ripped out and she deserves a chance. She is spayed, negative for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and chipped. There is no adoption fee for her, but we will be very particular about what home she goes to due to her special circumstances. We don't want her to be returned a third time.
