UPDATE: 05-06-09: Hi everyone! I got really sick last week and had to go to the hospital for 3 days to get IV fluids. The vet thinks I may be starting to go into kidney failure! Please say prayers for me. And... if you spare some money could you help me with my bills?

UPDATE: 03-15-09: Hello again - Lucy here. I don't have much to add to my bio right now, but I did take a few new pictures to show everybody. FM gave me a bath and put this cute little clip in my hair. Now I really do feel like a little lady! Everything else is still going well. Keep sending those applications so my 'rents can find me a good furever home to go to. Hope you enjoy the new pics!

UPDATE: 03-01-09: Hi all! Thought I better update my bio. I was spayed a couple of weeks ago and had to have five teeth pulled at the same time. Unfortunately, I can't keep my tongue in my mouth now - there's nothing to hold it in there now. FD thinks I look really cute with my tongue wagging at everybody. I just finished up going to some puppy classes to try and get a little more sociable with other people and other furkids. FM says I have really come a long way since I got here. I love to lay on the bed and have my belly rubbed now - I never knew what that was like before coming here.
Anyway, keep the applications coming - FM and FD are looking at all of them to help me find the right furever home.

Initial Bio 12/21/08: Hello, my name is Lucy. I am 7.7 lbs. and the vet guesses me to be about 8 - 10 yrs. old. The dogtor checked me out yesterday and gave me my shots (OW!) and then said the only thing wrong with me is my teeth. They said they were probably going to have to pull all of them. I am also in heat right now, so the dogtor wants me to come back in a couple weeks to get spayed(?) I just got to the 'rents house yesterday and I am a little nervous. I don't have much socialization skills, as I spent most of my years living in a crate (if you call that living). This house is awesome; dog beds everywhere, toys and chewies, food a couple of times a day, other dogs to play with. I sure hope the 'rents can find a furever home like theirs for me to go to. I am very sweet and lovable once I trust you enough to approach you. But I will run away from you if I am not ready for you.
I have only been here for a day, so I will have to give you all another update in a couple weeks.
