Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**UPDATE**
3/4/09
Dutch has put on weight and looks great , he has loads of personality and loves people, likes to run and play in the garden and to go for long walks, he is thriving in a family environment. Dutch loves to eat , his second love after chasing the cat , all in good fun as they play well together , he is totally house trained, obeys commands to sit, lay down, stay and sits for his food until given the free command. He would make a great pet for adoption.
1/22/09: Dutch is a really good boy on the walk, with minimal leash correction he listens really well. Dutch knows sit but needs to work on jumping. He is a good listener and is food motivated. Dutch enjoys the toys and playing ball. Dutch has grown attached to a volunteer who walks him frequently. On cold days when they cannot walk, Dutch will snuggle on the volunteer's lap.
1/9/09: Everyone who meets Dutch says what a handsome, happy boy he is. He has a lot of energy and tends to pull on a leash, so a fenced in yard would make Dutch so happy! He also knows some basic commands. We are adopting Dutch out as an only dog. We believe he has not been properly socialized with dogs and doesn't know how to interact. He would do best in a home where he can get 100% of the attention. If you are that home that is ready for a fun, loving, friendly, happy boxer boy please submit your application! If you are a home that is already approved please get in touch with Dutch's contact below.
12/28/08: Here is Dutch! We were contacted by a local shelter that asked for our help with Dutch. He was surrendered to the shelter because someone in the family he lived with had allergies. From the first time I met him, he has shown he is such a happy go lucky boy. He loves attention and loves everyone he meets. Dutch loves to play with toys and loves to go for rides in the car. As we learn more about Dutch we will update his bio. If you think you can give Dutch his forever home, please email his contact.
Before applying for adoption, please take a moment to read our adoption policies and procedures on our website at www.njboxerrescue.com. All our dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption and are up to date on all vaccinations.
