My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Radar is a young, handsome, rotti boy! When Radar came to us he had been shot in his front leg. After being assessed by the vet it was decided that they would have to amputate his leg. Although he is a tripod, you would never know it! Radar gets around and plays just fine now! Radar is such a silly/goofy boy who loves to be with his people. He also loves to play in the yard with his canine friends! However, Radar can be a bit nervous when meeting new people. We believe he experienced some abuse earlier on in his life that may have come from the same person who shot him. If he gets scared meeting someone new he will bark at them with a very fierce bark. He has come a long way in the 3 months that we have had him! However, we feel that Radar still needs some professional training. He will be attending a 4 week board and train program with the K9 Institute. They will work with him on his fear issues as well as obedience train him! He should be done with his program around February 9th. Radar is up to date on vaccines, monthly preventatives, and he is neutered and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting Radar please fill out an application on our website griffink9rescue.org! Since Radar's board and train will cost the rescue $2000 his adoption fee is now $500.
