Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Fred. What's yours? Anyway, nice to meet ya!
Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? As soon as you adopt me, I’ll be on my way to you! I am very excited to find my forever home. I'm a good boy. You'll see!
I am a Pittie mix boy. I am 3-years old and I weigh 70 pounds. I am crate-trained. I have had all of my shots and have been neutered and I'm ready to go to my new home with YOU! Those funny-looking 2-legged creatures also say that I am microchipped – whatever THAT is.
Wanna hear more good stuff about me? OK, here goes. I am a friendly boy. I love kids and adults and other doggies. And, I love to play. I mean, who doesn't? I love to play fetch especially with a tennis ball or my frisbee. I could play fetch ALL DAY every day! I am very energetic and my foster mom thinks I was neglected most of my life as I get extremely excited when someone shows me affection. I am learning basic obedience and am starting to understand some commands and if I'm focused I can even sit without a treat! I just want to please! I am a very cuddly boy. So get ready to cuddle with me. OK? What do ya' say? Huh? I LOVE my peeps! I need someone who will be patient with me and exercise me a lot because I LOVE to run. I would do best in a home with only one or two people and no children as I'm going to need the attention at first. I also would do better with no other dogs or maybe just one calmer one in the home as I cant focus with them around and get very amped up and have a hard time settling down. I have been going to a real training class the past month or so and have improved sooo much. I am now read for my forever home!
My foster mom loves me SO much that she only wants me to fly to my new home even if a pet transport truck was available. See my adoption information below.
If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email westhoustonanimalrescue@yahoo.com and she can get me on my way to a new and loving home! My adoption fee is $650 USD and includes my vetting, neutering, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND transportation on United Airlines from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U. S., North Central U. S., Northwest U. S., and Canada and will be arranged by the rescue group. (This is a courtesy posting.)
