UPDATE: Blackie is now able to walk without his cart in the backyard! His foster mom was able to help him regain the use of his legs again. This is an ongoing process and the vet thinks that with patience and continued therapy, Blackie will be able to run again.
Hi, my name is Blackie, I'm a black and tan standard dachshund, and I’m looking for a family that understands that I am on my way to become the best Dachshund possible. When I’m not playing with the three other fun-loving doxies here, I love to sit next to my people and get massaged while they watch TV. I always want to give back the love I get plus lots more. My foster family says I’m very mellow, in addition to being loving. I even heard them say that I’m easy to care for,I love children and I am very friendly. If you have room in your heart and another dog for me to play with, please contact my foster family. I’ll come wag my tail for you for an adoption fee of $150.
