Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Special Needs Dog Needs a Special Home!
At 1 year old, Auburn needs an experienced home only due to medical issues. Auburn has hydrocephalus, or a build up of fluid in her brain. This causes her to be a little slow and partially blind. This also means that she cannot always control her bladder and bowels, therefore, she would need someone that is home all day with her. On top of that, Auburn also has a luxating patella (or a trick knee that can move out of place) and is on occasional medication for a disc in her back.
Auburn is working on crate training and does well with house training if someone is home with her, however, she cannot help having accidents.
Auburn is extremely sweet, affectionate, and she ADORES people. She also loves all other animals. She is playful, loving, goofy, and tiny. She is a very funny dog that will entertain you. She is great on a leash and loves to curl up in her bed. She loves toys or even just a leaf that is her size. Auburn still has very puppy like in behavior.
