Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Description of pet
Bear is our 6 month old Border Collie mix puppy. He weighs close to 35 lbs.
Bear gets along fabulously with the other dogs here at the rescue. If you are looking for a new family member that is FUN then Bear is your boy. He loves to snuggle and just be with you, and LOVES to give kisses. Oh, and simply one beautiful pup! His coat is gorgeous. You won't find many like him walking around. The foster family is working on his potty training.
If you are interested in giving Bear a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.
Here is the link: www.facebook.com/pages/MAR-Mercer-Animal-Rescue-501c3/374149832631589
The application can also be downloaded from our website www.merceranimalrescue.org
You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you.
Bear's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.
ALL OUR DOGS START THEIR JOURNEY IN TENNESSEE
Bear is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to his new family once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast. Pick up is available every Saturday in VA, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, VT.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
