Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Meet Ralphie!!
The information below has been provided by his foster mom.
Personality: Ralphie is a wonderfully confident, playful active dog that gets along with all other dogs – no matter what their personalities. He is loving and smart and adapts to change quite easily. In my opinion, he will need another playful dog in his adoptive home. We allow him on furniture and he sleeps on the end of our bed at night. He knows sit – have not worked with him on other commands but believe that he will learn quickly, especially if you take him to an obedience class. Loves to ride in the car. If I did not have 5 dogs already, I would adopt this little boy. Have never had a dog adapt so quickly to my pack.
Known Behavior Issues: Ralphie jumps like a cat. He cleared the 3’ gate on my porch deck the first day he was here to go bark at some cows across the road from my house. He did come back when called, but adopter will need to understand that he can easily escape low fence/enclosure. I have a four-board horse fence in my back yard and he has never tried to jump it.
Ralphie still likes to chew. He needs to regularly be given appropriate chew bones/toys. Some of the chewing may be due to anxiety when his person is away.
We are home most of the day, but always crate Ralphie when we are away because he likes to chew. Always give him a KONG or other chew toy in his crate and lock the crate. I have never crated him for more than 2.5 hours.
Walks well on leash. He will do a low growl when anyone new approaches but it is not an aggressive growl – more an alert to his person that someone is coming.
Likes to jump up on people – not a huge problem since he is so small – but will need work.
Known Medical Issues:??
Good with Cats? We have one older cat who mostly stays under the bed upstairs. Ralphie did sleep in the same bed with the cat for a couple of nights. Don’t know if he might have chased it if it was a young cat.
Good with Children? Have not had him around children, but cannot imagine that he would be anything but good.
Housetrained? Yes. He has had one “pee” accident since he has been here, and that was my fault because I didn’t take him out soon enough.
