Meet Zack! Zack is a one year old tan and black male German Shepherd mix who is looking for a home that can provide the structure and socialization necessary for a pup entering adulthood. He would love a fenced in yard where he can get plenty of exercise or someone to take him on a nice long walk once a day and play fetch in the evening. Zack's foster family adores his kooky, fun, and carefree attitude. He takes treats gently from their middle-school aged kids but is too big for children who are unsteady on their feet. Zack is working on his house manners because he thinks he is a 90 pound lapdog. But this big guy who loves to give kisses does know his basic commands and walks decent on a leash. At the shelter we rescued him from, he did well with the dog-savvy shelter cat. He also passed his dog test there but will need a fur-companion that is patient as Zack is learning his boundaries and how to "talk" dog. He hasn't had a lot of dog experience so he can get super excited when he meets a new friend. Zack is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
