"Hi. I am Carrie. I was surrendered to a shelter not too long ago by my owners. I'm not sure why. I am now ready to find a home of my very own. It will take me a day or two to warm up to my person, but I am very loyal once I decide I am theirs. I am house and crate trained. I know some obedience commands. I don't bark unless I am playing. I think giving kisses is fun even when humans don't like it, and I love burrowing under blankets. It takes me a while to warm up to new animals, and to be honest, I think I would like to be an only dog. If you have the patience to keep me separated from other animals for a few days while I get acclimated to my new home, that would be okay too. I also love children and think they are fun playmates. Leash walking is a work in progress, but with a no-pull harness, I will get it down in no time. I'm already making progress. My person should be active as I have a lot of puppy energy to burn.
