My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Cletus. He is a beagle mix, 2-3 years old and 40 lbs. Timid at first and needs someone to take time to help him come out of his shell. He would need a well socialized dog in the adoptive home to help him be confident. Plus he loves to play! He is good with cats and older children as well. Vet reference required which means you must have a current pet or a prior pet in your name. Also, we only adopt locally which is within a 2 hour radius of Charleston.

Adoption fee of $225 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.

We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible.
